Support the Australian Opal Centre

We’re building a world-class new home for the Australian Opal Centre—to realise our vision and amplify our impact locally, across Australia and beyond, at an iconic cultural and scientific destination.

The AOC is a self-funded, not-for-profit organisation. For years, we’ve sustained our work through our own business activities, and we expected to continue doing so right up to the opening of our new facility. Had the Centre opened as planned by mid-2025, we would have made it. But due to construction delays, we're facing serious financial strain from carrying the costs of preparing for the new Centre—without the income it will generate.

We urgently need your support to continue the Australian Opal Centre’s groundbreaking work including its programs in opal-related science, research, education, training and culture, with and for community and industry.
