AOC Founders are visionary benefactors, each committing between $10,000 and $1 million directly towards the construction and fitout of the new Australian Opal Centre.
Many AOC Founders are ordinary people or businesses who have chosen to make the AOC part of their lasting legacy. Opportunities are available for major Corporate or Philanthropic Benefactors to join these visionaries. 2. Support our 1000 x $1000 campaign
Our 1000 x $1000 campaign campaign supports both fitout of the new AOC and operational readiness. Are you one in a thousand?

Every donation is valued and every dollar is put to best use.
Right now, we are appealing for donations to support our self-funded day-to-day operations, so we can continue to spread knowledge and inspiration about Australian opal and opalised fossils, run opal-related research, education and cultural programs, support industry and community initiatives, and draw people to the opal fields to live, learn, spend and get involved - as well as striving to complete our nationally-significant new Australian Opal Centre building.

Since the Australian Opal Centre was founded, we have received amazing donations from generous contributors from all over the globe – opals, opalised fossils, funding contributions, opal-related books, artworks and archival materials, cultural and natural treasures, wonders and curiosities that help tell and celebrate the opal story.
