Become A Member 

Our members are the lifeblood of what we do and each AOC member is important to us. If you would like to support the work of the AOC in this way, we offer four types of memberships.
 

AOC Members
For only $20 per year, our AOC members receive newsletters containing important news updates, a 10% discount in our shop (including online purchases), invitations to special events, and a place in history as a member of the team that built the AOC.
 

Business Members
Would you like to align your business or brand with our exciting project? Our Business Members receive all the benefits of our AOC members in addition to opportunities to be showcased by the AOC, and to purchase AOC merchandise at wholesale prices.
 

Sponsor Members
Would you like to support a particular aspect of the AOC - for example, the opal and fossil acquisition fund, education and learning programs, opal cutting workshop, research laboratory, marketing or another area of particular interest to you? Or to allow us to direct your support to where it is most needed?
 

Life Members
AOC Life Members are the lifeblood of the Australian Opal Centre. Without them we couldn't do; we couldn't even be. Life Membership contributions make it possible for us to run our exhibition space and programs, provide services to our members and the public, promote the AOC and Australian opal industry, support community initiatives, and keep doing the hard work that is gradually bringing a new AOC building into being. In return, we honour Life Members with a place at the Australian Opal Centre for life.

On 30 January 2023, Lightning Ridge Opal & Fossil Centre Incorporated (LROFC Inc) completed a legal transition to become a not-for-profit company, Australian Opal Centre Limited (AOC Ltd). From 30 January, current financial members of LROFC Inc automatically became members of AOC Ltd. We are currently finalising details of an exciting new membership program so if you are interested in membership, please email us and we will be delighted to send you a membership information package and form as soon as they’re available.
