Terry Coldham

Terry Coldham has more than five decades of experience in the Australian and international coloured gemstone industries as a business owner, gemmologist, international trader and leader in industry bodies. Widely respected for his knowledge, advocacy and service to the sector, he offers the Board valuable national and international perspectives.

Terry is the Federal Patron and an active member of the Gemmological Association of Australia (GAA) and a long-term member of the GAA Opal Group. He is a member and Australian Ambassador to,the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA), and a member of Australia’s opal advisory group to the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO). Terry is an AOC Founder and maintains a continuing passion for the AOC, its activities, collections, and projects.

A ratepayer of Walgett Shire Council with a residence in Lightning Ridge, Terry currently lives on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
